The New Year is just around the corner, and there are many ways to party. It's our chance to celebrate the end of one cycle and the beginning of another … or just an excuse to drink champagne. Each sign will have its own way of expressing this boundless feeling of unbridled joy. Aries (March 21 - April 19)
What'll it be … a monster truck rally or a boxing bout? It's easy to get amped up with all your energy, so it's safer to experience the aggression vicariously. Otherwise, you may end up in fisticuffs at your local bar. And if that isn't your scene, put on a red-hot number and paint the town, well, you know ….
Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
Your sensual sign loves good food and drink. Potato chips and cheap beer will not do. Although you're usually a penny-pincher, give yourself permission to go all out for New Year's. Rich desserts and fine wine will indulge the pleasure-seeker in you. Just practice some moderation, or else you'll feel like a rock in the morning.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
If you like anything, it's chatting up a storm. So ring in the New Year with some word games! Gather with a small group of friends and stump each other with pop culture trivia questions or by playing charades. And after a few drinks, do "20 Questions" and play guess that celebutante!
Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
You'll be celebrating the New Year with family, of course. It doesn't have to be with mom, dad, uncle, aunt, grandma and your 20 cousins, though. "Family" is anyone with whom you feel cozy and secure. So cook up a feast, serve it to those you love and then gather on the couch to watch the ball drop.
Leo (July 23 - August 22)
Your sign created the words "glitz" and "glamour," so surely you know how to put on the hottest party in town. Spare no expense -- DJs, disco balls, top shelf liquor … all you need are sequined pants and you're good to go. You know you need to outdress everyone else to be the star of the show!
Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
You probably don't want to get too wild on New Year's Eve. A nice, quiet evening at home suits you fine. In fact, avoiding all the fracas and curling up with a book is your idea of a good time. Just avoid a compulsive cleaning spree … you can act on your resolutions once 2008 officially starts!

The New Year is akin to a rebirth, and your sign is ready to shed old skin. If you've been thinking about your resolutions, you already know what's got to go. Why not spend the evening peforming some ritual magick, to cast off whatever bad habits keep you from using your power for good?

The last thing you want to do on New Year's Eve is sit in front of the television and watch Ryan Seacrest. Instead, try a midnight ski bash, or hop on a jet and celebrate in a warmer climate. If you're not up for too much adventure, spend the night with friends at a local comedy club.
Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
Loosen your tie or take off those business shoes … it's time to get wild for a change! You've been working so hard, you deserve a chance to let go once in a while. And despite your serious rep, we all know your sign has some earthy sensuality. Indulge yourself, and be back at the office at 9 a.m. sharp on Janaury 2!
Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)
Put on your most outlandish outfit and get yourself to the most alternative party you can find! Although it's not Halloween, you have permission to get your freak on. Not that you need permission. In fact, you'd probably dress conservative and go to a cocktail party just to rebel against whomever gave you the go-ahead.
Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
Your sign loves to escape reality. Instead of getting tipsy on alcohol, why not see a midnight showing of your favorite cult film? After the total immersion experience of viewing it on a larger-than-life screen, you'll emerge into the New Year feeling renewed and invigorated!
