Long distance relationships can be hard sometimes. Personally I have been through a few so I know what to expect and exactly what can happen.
The toughest part undoubtedly is the distance. Both people want to be with each other holding, cuddling, making love, which makes everything so hard since these things are impossible to do. What makes it worse is if you ve never met your partner before or if you only see him/her every few months.
The way to conquer the fears of distance are simple, just make the most out of the time you spend together. When you do talk on the phone or chat online be sure to actually talk and not ignore each other.
Communication is the key in all relationships. Be sure that you know how your partner feels and they know how you feel even if it does make you sad now it ll make you happy later.
Another hardship with a long distance relationship is monogamy. Sitting there wondering if your partner is with someone else, it can be tough at times but stay positive and trust your partner.
Trust is the most important factor in a relationship. If you do not feel that they should be trusted, there is a problem. You need talk to your partner about it and if you still feel they arent worth it to be trusted, more than likely the relationship needs to end.
Long distance relationships can be tough, but they can have great positives if opportunities are ceased. When you do see your partner, treat them with great respect. It could generate a long passionate night which both of you will never forget or it could be a night you will regret.
If the relationship is meant to be it is meant to be, if it isnt it isnt. Do not try to force the relationship, just let everything go smoothly. Take your time let the relationship go slow if it has to. The worst that can happen is you see each other later on and feel even more love towards each other and make that passionate night last even longer.
Dont give up on the relationship for something silly. Love is not something that should be taken lightly.
